The Las Vegas-Clark County Library District, the proud recipient of Gale/Library Journal's 2003 "Library of the Year" Award is recruiting for:
YOUTH SERVICES COORDINATOR
$64,396.80
Master's Degree in Library Science from a college or university accredited by the American Library Association required; three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience as a professional librarian required, of which at least two (2) years must have been as a Children's and/or Youth Services Librarian, and included demonstration of successful planning, implementation and coordination of innovative programs for a multi-site library system; demonstrated ability to implement strategic library service objectives with measurable outcomes, effectively supervise and motivate subordinate staff, develop and maintain positive relationships with library customers, patrons, vendors, District-wide staff and management required; and successful implementation of outreach efforts with community organizations, youth agencies, and schools required. Selected applicant must possess, or have the ability to obtain, a valid Nevada Driver's License at the time of hire. Closing Date: February 17, 2006.
